what kind of

did you have in mind?

There’s really no limit on subject matter, although most panels fall into one of three categories:  Cultural and/or historic, environmental, and wayfinding.  And there’s no rule for keeping them separated.  A panel for a historic district can incorporate a map, while an environmentally sensitive area might tell the story of the person who fought for its preservation.  There are only three rules:  Clarity, accuracy and brevity.

CULTURAL

Culture & History

The most versatile category. Panels that spotlight people, places & things

ENVIRONMENTAL

Environmental

Preservation & restoration of natural lands, preserves

WAYFINDING

Wayfinding

Detailed, user-friendly maps that depict trails, amenities & points of interest
